With 48 games spread across 12 amazing host cities, the 2019 rugby world cup in Japan will be one to remember on and off the field. For the first time the tournament is being held in Asia, and Japan is repaying the faith by showcasing an array of diverse, enthralling and beautiful locations.
The sprawling metropolises of Osaka & Tokyo are at the heart of this tournament with 23 games taking place in the surrounding areas. Other major cities like Sapporo, Fukuoka, and Nagoya (Toyota) get their chance in the spotlight to shine.
Perhaps the most inspiring story of the tournament comes in Kamaishi, the small port city was devastated by earthquake and tsunami in 2011 but will host 2 games there as part of its inspiring recovery.
